Kyle grew up in Cincinnati, attended St. Xavier High School, and graduated from Boston University with a degree in economics. An All-American soccer player at BU, Kyle was a member of ROTC and a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. After graduation, Kyle entered active duty in the US Army, held several leadership positions and was selected for promotion to Captain. He entered the logistics industry in 1998, and founded a firm in 2002 with partner, David Misiuta, which was bought in 2003 by WJW Associates. Kyle rose within the new company and became a co-owner in 2010. Kyle formed WJW Management in 2012 to bring the insights of a third-party transportation logistics company to the world of facility management.

Kyle and his wife Jennifer have 5 children.  Together they have been active foster parents since 2013.  Kyle has served as a Board Member of Kids First Florida, as a foster parent mentor and is currently a board member of Waste Not Want Not in Jacksonville, FL.
